Hi guys,
The festive season is here and December’s focus is simple: building systems.
This picks up right where I left off with last week’s deep dive into Hyper-productivity, which is already changing my life.
My goal for this month is to work on the business, not just in the business. I want to build autonomous, self-improving systems that run on their own.
I need to get this done by Christmas so I can enjoy a relaxing week in La Rochelle, France, with my family, laptop firmly closed.
It’s the perfect time to make one final push before 2026.
So, what are you chasing? Reply to this email and tell me your #1 goal for December 2025. I’ll respond with an AI tool or workflow to help you get there.
Cheers,
Tim

Dreaming of a French Christmas!
🚨Reminder: Join this week’s live session where I’ll be going through everything you need to know about Zapier. This slots perfectly into December’s hyper-productivity mission, so don’t miss it!

🗞 News
Report compares coding “personalities” of LLMs
A new analysis by Sonar explores the coding styles of different models and how this impacts your work.
Key findings:
All models consistently produce valid, viable solutions for well-defined problems.
All models lack security awareness and can produce risky code.
High performance on benchmarks doesn’t equal safety. Newer, more advanced models generate more nuanced flaws that are harder to detect.
While models like GPT-5, Claude Sonnet 4, and Llama 3.2 excel in coding benchmarks, they had a "lack of security consciousness," and don’t always write secure or maintainable code.
My take:
Use AI to build prototypes and test ideas. But trust your judgement or consult (human) experts before shipping the final product!
Runway releases Gen 4.5, the world’s best AI video model
Runway’s Gen-4.5 has reportedly claimed the #1 spot on the Artificial Analysis Text-to-Video leaderboard.

Runway claims its outputs are often "indistinguishable from real-world footage."
The update focuses heavily on improved physics, dynamics, and human movement, addressing common AI pitfalls by maintaining consistency in fine details like hair and fabric.
My take:
Video generation is a huge asset for marketing and content creation, but it doesn’t really matter what model you’re using—just experiment with bringing ideas to life and integrate AI video into your content strategy.
📘 The Guide: From Sales Call to Slide Deck in 15 Minutes
Don’t waste hours writing proposals or formatting slides. Take real conversations with your clients and convert them into a polished, professional slide deck in minutes.
Tools you need: Granola + your preferred LLM (ChatGPT/Gemini/Claude, etc) + Gamma
The workflow:
Capture — Record and note the call in Granola.
Extract — Export the transcript or enhanced notes.
Transform — Use an LLM to structure the data into a narrative.
Visualize — Paste the structured text into Gamma to auto-generate the deck.
Step 1: Capture (during the call)
Granola’s superpower is mixing full transcription with your manual bullet points. This ensures you get important details without losing the strategic overview.
Select a template: Before the call, select a Sales Discovery or General Meeting template in Granola.
Be a highlighter: You don’t need to type everything, but jot down keywords during the call to flag importance for the AI.
Type "Budget: $50k" → Granola scans the audio context to flesh out the details.
Type "Pain point: Reporting" → Granola pulls the client’s specific complaint about reporting into the final notes.
Step 2: Extract (post-call)
Once the meeting ends, get the text out of Granola and into your LLM.
Option A: The "copy all" method (best for full context)
Go to the transcript view in Granola.
Copy the entire transcript (or the "Enhanced Notes" if the call was long).
Option B: The "chat" method (best for specific details)
Use Granola's "Chat with meeting" feature to pre-filter information.
Ask: "List the top 3 challenges the client mentioned and their timeline for implementation."
Copy the answer.
Step 3: Transform (the LLM prompt)
Granola filters out noise, filler words, and technical jargon, so you can quickly turn your notes into a strategic sales narrative with an LLM.
The LLM can pull specific phrases (e.g., "It feels like we're flying blind") to draft the text. When clients see their own words in your proposal, it builds massive trust.
Copy and paste this prompt into ChatGPT/Gemini/Claude:
Context: I have a transcript from a sales discovery call. I need you to act as a B2B Sales Expert and convert this conversation into a structured outline for a Sales Proposal Deck.
Source Material: [PASTE GRANOLA TRANSCRIPT OR NOTES HERE]
Task: Create a detailed, slide-by-slide outline based strictly on the prospect's problems discussed in the transcript. Do not hallucinate features we didn't discuss unless they are obvious standard solutions to their pain points.
Output Format (optimized for Gamma App): Please write the output as a clear outline. Label each section as "Slide X".
Slide 1: The "New Reality" (The Hook)
Content: State a shift in their industry that makes their current problem urgent (e.g., "Remote work has broken your old reporting structure").
Slide 2: The Problem (The Villain)
Content: List the top 3 specific pain points mentioned in the transcript. Crucial: Use the client's own words/quotes where possible.
Slide 3: The Cost of Inaction
Content: Extrapolate the negative consequences mentioned (e.g., wasted time, lost revenue, team burnout).
Slide 4: The Promised Land (The Solution)
Content: Describe the future state without mentioning our product yet. What does their workflow look like when these problems are solved?
Slide 5: How We Get There (Our Product)
Content: Map our specific features/solution to the pain points listed in Slide 2.
Slide 6: Social Proof
Content: Suggest a relevant case study or metric based on their industry (e.g., "Similar to how we helped [Company Type] reduce X...").
Slide 7: Proposal & Next Steps
Content: Outline the specific implementation timeline and budget discussed in the call.
Step 4: Visualize (create with Gamma)
Now that you have a structured narrative, let Gamma do the design work.
Copy the output — Copy the structured outline generated by the LLM in Phase 3.
Open Gamma — Go to gamma.app and select "Create New" → "Paste Text". Or, go to “Remix Template” if you already have a sales deck template saved in Gamma.
Paste & edit — Paste your LLM outline into Gamma.
Tip: You can instruct Gamma to "Split by Slide" or ensure the headers are recognized as new cards.
Generate: Select your theme and click Generate. Gamma will instantly build a formatted deck with images and layouts.
If you haven’t already set up your custom theme/template:
Swap out the generic AI images for your actual product screenshots.
Ensure the "Social Proof" slide references a real case study from your library.
Export to PDF or PPT, or send the live Gamma link directly to the client.
Advanced Automation (optional)
To make this even more efficient, set up a Zapier automation:
Trigger: "New Note in Folder [Sales Calls]" in Granola.
Action: Send transcript to ChatGPT (API) with the prompt above.
Final step: Create a new presentation in Gamma (blank or from your template) using the draft from ChatGPT.
