How to use Notion’s mind-blowing new agents
Plus: AI music just keeps getting better, and Abu Dhabi’s plans for an AI-First nation

I’ve just returned from a relaxing family getaway in Datça, but even on holiday, I still carried my laptop around. That's the reality of being a founder—you can never fully disconnect.
However, with the help of AI, I focus on the important stuff (client calls and training sessions) and automate the admin.
Working on the ferry to Datça
This week, I’m excited about Notion’s new agentic capabilities, and I’ve been blown away by the results of the AI Readiness Assessment we launched last week.
It’s amazing to see so many founders and CEOs using our tool to kickstart their AI journey.
Take the 5-minute assessment now and get personalized tips for AI adoption.
Now, let’s dive into today’s content!
Today at a glance:
News: AI music creation, new email assistants, and Abu Dhabi’s AI plans
Guide: Getting started with Notion AI agents

News:
Suno drops V5, most advanced music model yet
AI music generation app Suno just released a new and improved model that generates high-quality, original tracks in pretty much any genre or style.
The new model promises better musical structure, natural vocals, higher fidelity audio, and more creative control.
As well as being a fun tool, there are endless opportunities for founders and marketers. Just imagine being able to generate a theme song for your company, quality background music for social content, or a catchy, on-brand jingle in minutes.
Perplexity's AI Email Assistant
Perplexity just launched an AI Email Assistant for Gmail and Outlook that can draft responses, organize messages, schedule meetings, and answer questions about your inbox. Over time, it adapts to your communication style, tone of voice, and priorities.
I love seeing how connectivity is becoming more and more important. This is a great example of practical, helpful AI. It’s not “sexy” or headline-grabbing, but it will make a difference for founders.
Abu Dhabi's AI-driven government
Abu Dhabi just announced a plan to become the world’s first AI-native government.
The strategy aims to position the Emirates as a global leader in AI, fostering innovation and technology adoption.
As part of the “AI for All” program, the Abu Dhabi government is investing in training and empowering its citizens in AI. Over 200 AI solutions will be implemented across government services, with 5,000 employment opportunities created.
Other countries (and businesses!) should take note — education and early adoption will be key to success in an AI-First world.
One Guide :
Notion Agents: Create your first agent
Notion AI just got a major upgrade.
Now, it’s not just a workspace assistant; it’s a virtual team member and Notion power user.
What can Notion Agents do?
Agents are built to work with Notion’s building blocks and your connected tools. Here’s what they can handle:
Create, query, and edit database content — They can build a new tracker from scratch or update existing ones with properties, views, and templates.
Draft content — Create new pages, update existing docs, and keep information consistent across your workspace.
Search and research — Look across Notion, Slack, Google Drive, and the web to collect details, summarize, and surface insights.
Run analysis — Spot patterns, highlight blockers, and summarize everything into clear next steps.
They always use the latest AI models, selecting one that fits your needs.
How to access Agents in Notion
On the bottom right of your Notion page, click the face to open Notion AI.
Click on the face again to personalize. You can give your agent a name, change the appearance, and add custom instructions.

You can choose one of the preset options (analyst, sidekick, etc.) and customize the instructions according to what function your agent will perform.
Instructions will open as a profile page which you can edit with your preferred tone, workflows, and style.
You can customize how it looks, how it responds, and provide all your team’s knowledge so it adapts to your way of working.
Example Use Cases
Project setup:
Ask your Agent to “build a project plan with a deliverables database, assign owners, add deadlines, and create a kickoff doc.” Done in minutes.
Database maintenance:
Already have a project tracker? Agents can add new fields, tweak views, or keep everything updated as your needs change.
Content creation & updates:
Turn a meeting note into a proposal. Update policies across every page in your workspace. Organize scattered notes into a clean knowledge base.
Research & synthesis:
Ask it to review launch documents, gather competitor news from Slack and the web, and produce a summary of blockers and competitor release dates.
Notion Agents go beyond generating text.
They can:
Build, write, update, and analyze in seconds.
Reduce manual setup and busywork.
Keep knowledge organized and consistent across your team.
Free you up to focus on strategy, customers, and growth.
If you’re already using Notion, these new agentic capabilities will streamline your daily work.

Claude for Chrome: My honest review
Claude has recently launched an AI browser extension, Claude for Chrome.
The AI can handle typical browser tasks like clicking, scrolling, and summarizing, and can even fill out forms.
I demoed it in this week’s YouTube video. Watch it here:
One Tool:
At AI Operator, we were this close to switching from Notion to ClickUp, because I felt we needed a more rigid system for managing work.
But after Notion launched AI Agents, everything changed. Suddenly, Notion is a flexible workspace with an AI-powered operator baked right into the platform. So, we decided to stay, and double down.
Here’s why Notion is worth your attention right now:
All-in-one connectivity — Bring your docs, tasks, knowledge base, projects, and external integrations (Google Drive, Slack, and more) into one place. Your Agent can search across them all.
Endless customization — Databases, properties, views, and templates are fully flexible. You can design systems that match how your team actually works, rather than forcing workflows into rigid software.
Agentic AI inside your workspace — Notion’s new Agents can create and edit databases, draft and update pages, and pull insights from your connected tools.
Consistent knowledge management — Notion keeps information updated across the workspace. Agents can automatically revise content when policies or details change, keeping everything in sync.
Scalable for teams — Whether you’re starting with a single project tracker or running company-wide operating systems, Notion adapts without losing simplicity.
I’ve been loyal to Notion for the last 5 years, and it’s exciting to see them continuously innovate and push the boundaries.
TL;DR:
