The Browser That Writes LinkedIn Replies for You
Plus how to build an app during your coffee break

AI Operators,
I just got back from Portland, where I celebrated my birthday doing one of the things I love most: getting knee-deep in AI. There's something energizing about watching people's faces light up when they realize how AI can transform their daily operations.
Now I'm back home and ready to celebrate my daughter's 4th birthday this weekend, which got me thinking about timing. Summer is actually the perfect season to invest in your team's AI skills while things are a bit slower, and I'm here to help make that happen.
Next Wednesday, I’m hosting a live session on AI for Marketing. You’ll learn about prompts that work best for marketers, how to use AI to create your content strategy, and much more, all with practical examples.

News:
NotebookLM Gets Premium Content Collections
Google is adding curated notebooks from major publications like The Economist and The Atlantic to NotebookLM, giving users access to curated content collections for more research and analysis.
As someone who uses NotebookLM daily, I'm excited to see anything new they release, whether it's features or collections like this. I cover more about NotebookLM in the Tool section below!
AI Band Reaches #1 on Spotify
The Velvet Sundown, an AI-generated folk rock band, hit #1 on Spotify's viral chart in multiple countries before admitting they were a "synthetic music project" created as an "art hoax.”
I found their songs catchy, but, for the moment, they lacked that emotional connection I feel with human-created music. Still, 1.1 million monthly listeners prove AI can create genuinely engaging content, and I’m here for that!
Meta Acquires Voice AI Startup
Meta acquired Play AI, a voice generation startup, to enhance their AI capabilities across Meta AI, wearables, and audio content creation.
Mark Zuckerberg has been riding a big wave to match competition and it seems like he's got big plans ahead. He's definitely got one thing right: voice AI is one of the biggest things in AI right now.
One Guide: Build Functional Apps in Minutes with Lovable ❤️
I've been experimenting with Lovable lately, and it's impressive how quickly you can turn ideas into working applications.
Got time for a coffee break? Learn how to build your first business application in under 15 minutes—no coding required.
Step 1: Set Up Your Database
Visit supabase.com, create a free account, and add your organization. This step is important because Supabase gives your app a real backend database, so you're building an actual application, not just a prototype.
Create a new project (e.g., "Team Onboarding").
Add a secure database password.
That's it for now—Lovable will handle the rest.
Step 2: Start Your Lovable Project
Navigate to lovable.dev to:
Create your project
Connect your Supabase account (Lovable makes this seamless)
Choose your workspace type (Pro for paid accounts, Public for free)
Step 3: Prompt Lovable to Build Your App
Keep it simple but specific. For example:
“Build an onboarding application that helps new hires during their first month. Each day should include resources, videos, and a timeline. We should be able to create different onboarding tracks by role, and admins can assign users to each.”
Send the prompt and watch the magic happen.
Step 4: Observe the Building Process
On the left: your chat with Lovable.
On the right: live preview + generated code.
Lovable automatically creates your information structure, designs the interface using modern design tools, and establishes different permission levels (admin, manager, employee).
It also adds functionality for tracking daily tasks, managing resources, and more.
When everything looks good, click "Apply Changes."
Step 5: Test the User Experience
Preview the app in mobile, tablet, or desktop views.
Sign up as a user (you’ll get a confirmation email via Supabase).
Log in and experience Day 1 of your onboarding journey.
Step 6: Add Advanced Features
Now let's enhance your app. Ask Lovable to change your user to an admin, then request:
"Add a proper admin dashboard so I can create onboarding programs, assign users, and upload content."
Lovable will build a dashboard that lets you:
Create and manage onboarding programs
Assign specific content to different days
Control who sees what content
Activate or deactivate features as needed
Step 7: Polish the Design
Fine-tune your app's appearance using the "Edit" mode to adjust visual elements directly.
You can also simply ask Lovable to make specific changes like "Make this button green and more rounded" or "Add more space between these sections."
I've found that small visual improvements significantly increase user adoption rates.
Step 8: Deploy Your App
With one click on the "Publish" button, your app goes live with its own public URL. You can even add a custom domain if you want to brand it professionally.
💬 Bonus Tips:
Use Chat (Non-Edit) to brainstorm or ask technical questions.
Upload designs, sketches, or even Figma files to guide the UI.
If you hit an error, describe it in chat. Lovable will try to fix it for you.
Watch this video for a full breakdown!
What would you build first with this tool? I'd love to hear your ideas.
One Media: Your Browser Just Got a Brain Upgrade
I just tested Perplexity's new Comet browser, and it's exactly what I mean when I talk about bringing the AI-First Mindset to everyday work.
Instead of just displaying web pages, this browser actively helps you work smarter by summarizing tabs, responding to voice commands, and even handling LinkedIn messages for you.
One Tool: NotebookLM: Your Personal AI Research Partner
I've been using NotebookLM daily for months, and it's become my go-to tool for making sense of complex information.
Here's what makes NotebookLM different: you upload your PDFs, Google Docs, websites, audio files, or YouTube videos, and it becomes an expert in YOUR specific content. No internet browsing, no random facts from who-knows-where.
What I love most about NotebookLM:
Grounded responses with citations - Every answer shows you exactly where the information came from
Multi-source analysis - Upload 20+ documents and get insights across all of them
Audio Overview feature - Converts your documents into engaging podcast-style discussions
Privacy-first approach - Google doesn't use your data to train the model
Structured outputs - Generate FAQs, timelines, and summaries from your materials
I use it every day to organize my thoughts, gather information, and get quick answers from complex documents. The podcast feature is brilliant for processing information while commuting or exercising.
Perfect scenarios for founders:
Preparing for board meetings? Upload your financial reports, market research, and competitor analysis. NotebookLM will synthesize insights across all sources and answer specific questions with exact citations.
Planning a product launch? Upload customer feedback, technical specifications, and marketing materials. Ask it to identify common themes, potential risks, or create a comprehensive launch timeline.
Try NotebookLM for free and see how it transforms your relationship with information.
TL;DR:
I just returned from a successful AI workshop in Portland (on my birthday!) and am planning a live session on AI for marketers on July 23rd.
In the news: Google is improving NotebookLM with premium content, an AI-generated band topped Spotify charts with 1.1 million listeners, and Meta acquired voice AI startup Play AI to boost their capabilities.
You can build a functional business app in just 15 minutes using Lovable's no-code platform and simple English prompts.
Perplexity's new Comet browser transforms passive web browsing into an active assistant that summarizes content, responds to voice commands, and helps manage your online activities.
NotebookLM turns your documents into a personal AI research assistant that provides cited answers from your own content and converts documents to podcast-style discussions.
